Graduate Training

Dr. Jones is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia, a Tenured Associate Professor of Psychology, and the current Co-Chair of the Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychology Training Council. She currently receives grant funding for research on substance abuse, trauma, and telehealth in vulnerable populations, positive parent-driven behavioral interventions, ADHD, and integrated primary care. 

Additionally, she regularly accepts students to work with her in her lab. Applicants to the VCU clinical psychology doctoral program should consider applying to work with Dr. Jones if they have an interest and/or experience working broadly in the area of Black/African American children's mental health. 

Dr. Jones has also received federal funding to train doctoral students in the provision of evidence-based behavioral health care in integrated primary care settings. Learn more here
