Dr. Jones is heavily involved in graduate training for the clinical psychology doctoral program at VCU. She has taught the graduate-level child therapy course and currently supervises student therapists in the ADHD Clinic and in the Pediatric Integrated Care Clinic. Additionally, she regularly accepts students to work with her in her lab. Applicants to the VCU clinical psychology doctoral program should consider applying to work with Dr. Jones if they have an interest and/or experience working broadly in the area of African American children mental health. Applicants with an interest in ADHD are also welcome to apply.
Dr. Jones has also received federal funding to train doctoral students in the provision of evidence-based behavioral health care in integrated primary care settings. Learn more about this grant.
