Dr. Heather Jones Awarded College's Distinguished Mentor Award

Congratulations to our Lab Director, Dr. Heather Jones, on receiving the CHS Distinguished Mentor Award. The purpose of the award is to honor an outstanding contribution to mentoring by a faculty member in VCU’s College of Humanities and Sciences. Heather is being recognized for building a supportive academic environment through faculty-to-student mentoring and/or faculty-to-faculty mentoring. She has consistently offered information and counsel that helps to advance and develop her mentees’ paths to academic and professional success. She has dedicated her time and expertise to guide her mentees’ work and progress, and she continually serves as a role model by maintaining high standards for ethics and excellence within the University community.
