Jaylynn Floyd Accepted to McNair Scholar's Program

The Ronald  E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Program at Virginia Commonwealth University is a federally-funded TRIO program operating in over 200 institutions across the United States and Puerto Rico, Sponsored by the US Department of Education. The program immerses participants in research and scholarly endeavors in preparation for doctoral studies.  In recognition of the academic potential of first-generation college students and other traditionally underrepresented groups, the program's overarching goal is to bolster graduate degree attainment in individuals from marginalized backgrounds, thus fostering greater diversity in higher education.
