Graduate Student, VCU Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program (Child/Adolescent Concentration)

Nemya is a 2nd year graduate student in the FAMH Lab. She graduated from VCU, with a major in Psychology. Further, she was an NIH-funded post-baccalaureate scholar at VCU, where she worked with Dr. Jones to investigate racial identity, parenting, and parenting stress in Black mothers of children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Nemya's research and clinical interests center around how best to engage Black adolescents with internalizing symptoms and their families in integrated primary care.
